# Content Club Awards 2024 Content Club Awards Kia Orana kotou katoatoa It is now the second half of November 2024, and the Booker Prize has just been awarded, meaning it is that time of the year for the 46th annual Content Club Awards Content Club Awards. ## Process As usual, this will take place in two rounds: - In the first round, please submit up to 5 items of content per category for consideration using the google form link below. There is space to enter up to 5 items under each category and these will then be collated into the "Content Shortlist". - The second round will comprise a vote on those items on the compiled list. As always, voting will be done by [quadratic voting](https://chatgpt.com/share/6736c8d8-7b70-800f-963e-f4a2366960af). You will have 35 credits per category, to allocate as you wish. More details on this to come. ## Quadratic voting For those who need a refresher on quadratic voting,[^1] basically the number of votes you give to something will cost the square of that number in credits. In other words: - 1 vote = 1 credit - 2 votes = 4 credits - 3 votes = 9 credits - 4 votes = 16 credits - 5 votes = 25 credits What it means in practical terms is that you can show really strong support for your favourite smut fiction if you wish, but it's gonna cost you! You have 35 credits, which you can spend in a variety of ways. For example you could give: - 5 votes (25 credits) to 1 item, 3 votes (9 credits) to 1 item and 1 vote (1 credit) to 1 item; or - 4 votes (16 credits) to 2 items and 1 vote (1 credit) to 3 items; or - 3 votes (9 credits) to 3 items and 2 votes (4 credits) to 2 items; or - 2 votes (4 credits) to 8 items and 1 vote (1 credit) to 3 items; or - 1 vote (1 credit) to 35 items. The possibilities are Please note if your votes exceed your credits I will either check this with you or simply remove your lowest votes to meet the credit limit. Or disqualify you, but I probably won't do that. ## What are this year's categories?
